Hi! My name is Gloria, but I am often called Glo and Globug.
I have a wonderful, amazing and loving husband, Peter. He is a brilliant businessman, and a wizard with technology and social media. We lovingly call him my “Dren,” which is “Nerd,” spelled backward.
Together, we make an awesome team!
I also have two children and three grandchildren.
This is my first-born, Angie, with her two amazing children, Austin and Lindsay.
This is my second-born, Neil, with his wonderful wife, Jenn and lovely daughter, Ashleigh.
Before I retired in January 2008, I was Director of Corporate Strategic Internal Communications for Transport Canada. I loved being a federal public servant! I had the best team in the federal government. We worked very hard, and we served our clients extremely well. I still miss my team mates, especially Julie and Anick!
A few months after I retired, I started my own communications business, Gloria Sauve Communications. It kept me very happy and busy for a few years, until l began to have way more fun in my craft studio than I was having in my office. So, on December 31, 2011, I closed my brief case and started Globug Ideas. Crafting and home decorating/DIY are my passions. I love combining the two to create beautiful things for my home, on a skinny budget.
